Terrorism is defined by Globalsecurity.org
as “The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence against
people or property to coerce or intimidate governments or societies,
often to achieve political, religious, or ideological
objectives”However I feel that this definition is extraneously long as
I could come up with a better definition using a single word:DASTARDLY.And
dastardly is a word I could use right now with more conviction than
anyone else; even more than Franklin Roosevelt when he delivered his
speech after the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II.
The recent terrorist attacks in London were not directed towards a mighty naval fleet nor towards prominent economic targets but rather towards the working class.Thirty three people dead.Thirty three people who take the train and the bus to get to and from work—to earn a living.Thirty three
innocent lives.Blacks, whites, Christians, Jews, women, children,
young, old.This just is an indiscriminate massacre without respect for
gender, religion, age or caste.And you fucking terrorist cowards have
the gall to call this an ideology? Well fuck you! Fuck your
ideology!That is NOT an ideology, hell it’s not even debauched faith;
it’s just indiscriminate massacre.
The whole world should be more vigilant on the war on terrorism which is trying to bring down our society.I would like to quote London city Mayor Ken Livingstone—
I said yesterday to the IOC, this City of London is the greatest in the
world because everybody lives side by side in harmony. And Londoners
will not be divided by this cowardly attack. They will stand together
in solidarity around those who have been injured, those who have been
bereaved, and that is why I’m proud to be the Mayor of that city.
Finally I wish to speak through you directly to those who came to
London today to take life. I know that you personally do not fear to
give your own life in exchange for taking others, (indistinct) why you
are so dangerous. But I know you do fear that you may fail in your long
term objective to destroy our free society.
And I can show you why you will fail. In the days that follow look at
our airports, look at our sea ports, and look at our railway stations.
And even after your cowardly attack you will see that people from the
rest of Britain, people from around the world will arrive in London to
become Londoners and to fulfill their dreams and achieve their
potential. They choose to come to London
as so many have come before because they come to be free, they come to
live the life they choose, they come to be able to be themselves. They
flee you because you tell them how they should live, they don’t want
that. And nothing you do, however many of us you kill will stop that
flight to our cities where freedom is strong and where people can live
in harmony with one another.
Whatever you do, however many you kill you will fail.
We
must unite to fight the idiots who think that murdering innocent
civilians will get them the results they want and those hoping to foist
their ideological agenda on the world.Terrorism employs tactics that
are both cowardly and desperate; they make ends preempt the means, no
matter how immoral and cruel.For us to continue reaping the fruits of
liberty, we must remain steadfast in our drive to create a world where
the idea of terrorism is not recognized as a legitimate tactic and
where it doesn’t have drastic effects on how we live our daily lives.I
say stop fearing terrorism, I say fuck terrorism.
I agree wholeheartedly. Although the million dollar question is…HOW?
